Basically, we rode out with nothing but what we could store on our horses and remained in the wilderness the entire week, traversing a mountain range. Each boy responsible for his own mount's care throughout.
It was quite something, although at one point I was dismounted. Something spooked the horse, and it shot off at lightning speed up the mountain side off the beaten path, and directly under a limb. It must've looked like something straight out of a cartoon, but fortunately I came down smoothly and was able to recover quickly, because the horse turned and reared, dropping hundreds of pounds of weight on my water bottle inches away. It was a Nalgene, though, so it was undamaged. I scurried back down the slope and regrouped with the others rather than try to calm the horse on my own.

In December when me and my pal were walking downtown there was a bunch of guys taking advantage of the nice and sunny weather and were flying drones near the city center
I asked him about what I thought then, that maybe in a decade or so the little buzzing will not be so unusual, maybe the droning of drones will be very usual as they will always be above us for surveillance.
His response was simply "I don't think that's the case, I think they will be there, but will be quieter."
And what was strange that even with the noise it was
really hard to actually spot the drones against the sky.
Do you think there's always drones in the sky everywhere for either surveillance or something else in Cyberquest?

No.821387
>>821106There were a few elective classes you got to pick here in California, usually relate to careers you are interested in, but everyone had to take the standards like English, Math, and Science.

No.821388
>>821385Its honestly probably better that way. Kids will just make mistakes, and its too vital of a time to trust them.
the way it worked was you just needed a certain number of core and elective credits. No, you couldn't choose not to pick math or something dumb like that, just you got to pick from like 2 or 3 different ones. But usually it was set up so that you were stuck on a certain path anyway. Elective classes is where you actually got to choose something, and they would actually cancel the class or bring the class back depending on sign ups.

Like, everyone has to take math but you can either do long basic math or advanced math, advanced being 9 or 10 courses instead of the basic 6. The same applied to most subjects - some mandatory classes (usually just one) and a ton of advanced classes if you liked it.
Languages were purely elective and you had options depending on school. I had English, German, French, Russian, Spanish and Latin.
Then you had to take at least four for your finals
-Finnish
-either math or Swedish
-at least two others, but there was no real upper limit beyond your own sanity. Most did 4, I did 5, I know some did 11.
Health class was the usual meme option since the 'advanced' course was three classes instead of like 6+.
You were also allowed a lot of freedom to select when you wanted to take each class, so you had third year students mixed in with first year ones on some mandatory classes. Many, me included, stuffed the first two years with as much shit as possible resulting in the last year having entire days with no classes or like one afternoon class. I also shoved all gym classes into the same quarter meaning I had 10 hours of gym per week.
Good times.

they were pretty, sporty, mostly kind or aloof. Pleasant to talk to, the kind of people that really know how to make you feel at ease. They weren't all good people, that ability to sway hundreds of people with a chain of texts would mess with anyone.
I don't think it was really so wrong, just that, if it wasn't an order handed down the bureaucracy, the staff didn't want to make us do it. Even assemblies were sometimes cut short because the staff heard that the students really wanted to be back at spanish class for example.

The number of colleges that actually counted those credits were much, much smaller than we were led to believe. Then again, I'm in the middle of nowhere, and when my class had something like a 50% dropout rate, focusing on the kids who are actually trying kind of makes sense.
For me, the 'popular' group mostly consisted of kids who were either the children of teachers, members of the band or choir, and sports kids. Most of them were pleasant, and as far as I remember, the drama and gossip was only on an individual basis, so I could pretty much ignore it and focus on whatever it was I was doing.

So if you were good at languages, you'd choose the course that focused on languages, or if you were good at maths you'd take the course that had more math related classes in it. Obviously the core classes were still there. PE, history, math, English, French, geography, etc. were things you couldn't really get away from, but the amount of focus on them depended on which package you chose.
Personally I took a trade oriented package, which was a economics/language hybrid. Last two years of high school I switched to a course that focused on tourism, which meant a little less focus on economics, but a bigger focus on languages, history and geography.
For the record, there's no distinction between Middle and High school here. High school just lasts 6 years.

His excellent self heal makes his ult charge super fast and allow him to sustain on his own without team support
Honestly his sentry mode damage isn't as high as you'd think now that headshot damage is gone though it is still enough to make teams back off

I will never forgive CA for what they did to Rome II. RTW was one of my earliest strategy game memories, they gave me false hope and then stabbed me deep in the heart.
No.821535
>>821534RTW is the perhaps most over-rated piece of feces ever.
No.821537
>>821534The "le sekrit club" argument has always been retarded as hell. I went into this wanting the definitive WHFB strategy game, and that's exactly what I got. They made no secret going into this that it would be getting DLC out the ass, and honestly I don't care. It gives me incentive to keep playing it, and I can expect them to cover most anything that I want from it. I'm still excited for Helves and Lizardmen. Ask me if I give a shit about the rest of the franchise.
Besides, don't act like you're the only one who got burned by his precious sugar daddy devs in the past. I went through the same thing with the Homeworld remaster, and I eventually just moved on.

No.821539
>>821537>Le sekrit clubWhere did you even get that from? Total War is very mainstream and always has been, kind of like Civ games. At least you admit that the only reason you even care about that turd of a game is because it's more Games Workshop shovelware of their dying franchise.
Also if this is the best WHF strategy game ever released I honestly feel bad for Warhammer fans.

Besides, Medieval II was my first exposure to Total War, and I didn't really care for it.
