So I guess I'll make a thread. There's something I've been wanting to do and it's making tutorials but I'm not sure which part of my style or pony to break down. If there's one thing I really like to do, it's helping other people along.

Possibly legs and wings because I think how canon ponies work has been covered to death and if people can't draw it like the show, it's usually because they either didn't practice or they haven't studied.

Which tutorial or breakdown would you like to see?

Alright. First off, let's get a reference up in here. People who draw without actually looking at what they're drawing are either very silly or very purist.

I'll try and break it all down tonight. Do you wanted wings like MLP style, painterly wings, or lineart wings or a blended style?

Except I don't think I've ever done a tutorial before so it's going to be a few days while I think about how to approach it and break it down completely and I think I need to make a lot of sketches. This ref for NSFW Puzzle isn't a bad start, though, for approaching the treatment of wings very realistically.

It's coming along. She's still Baldlestia though until I paint her hair. Puzzled how to handle the gradient in digital oils.

I'll horizontally flip it later because I realized in the comic, her bandaid is on the other cheek. Whoops.

You're in luck, it's not a commission but it was a trade, I am going to draw her and Marker Pony sipping tea.
