So here it is. The final is upon us. Soon the end will be here. I don't know what the future holds but I am sure of one thing: regardless of how one feels of the final (or even everything post season 2) it's awesome that the show lasted this long and that the fandom managed to survive past a fad.

Thoughts on final: battle epic, TS's transition to power with all we know of alicorn lore not so epic.

Comics? Iffy. Art has been a bit better but stories still hit or miss, not sure how I am supposed to take the comics as canon if they make connections to things that couldn't have happened in the show.

State of things: IDK. Fandom will survive ** I mean look at something like Doctor Who during it's long hiatus or Lain.., ** not sure it'll thrive.

The best outcome that I think is within the realm of possibility is it being slightly above average in quality and slightly less annoying than we thought (I.E Characters still partly retain their old personalities and sometimes a mildly interesting concept for an ep). The worst case is something like Powerpuff Girl's reboot or TTG, with all the characters like Pinkie Pie at her worst and meta commentary on the fandom/previous show that is going to rustle jamies and lead to autistic drama. My bet is more towards the worst outcome but I think it'll probably be more bland than provocative.

The thing about butthurt is that, for most people, it heals pretty quickly. The only ones who stay butthurt for a long enough time to cause a ripple are autists, of whom there aren't very many
